My New Toy

Look what my hubs got me for Mother's Day. It has a big metal bar that slips in the front and you can lock it. It is approved for airline. Holds tons of stuff. Just LOVE it.

My Baby's First Prom

Ok, she is just a freshman, but she went with a group of friends. The tanning sessions, the picking of the dress, the hair and makeup, the nails were better to her than the prom itself. She was so nervous when she left, and was greatly disappointed when she got there. But she will do it again for the next 3 years. I just think she is gorgeous, but I am a little biased, because she is my one and only baby girl.

This one is while we were looking for a good spot to take pictures. Love that she has her phone with her. Can't do anything without that phone, you would think that it was an important organ that keeps her alive.

She has grown up too fast. My little lady is truly a little lady. Brandon didn't want to go to his senior prom but I got a picture of the 2 of the them (actually getting along).

Life has just smacked me in the face with my kids being young adults. I am just not ready for them to grow up and leave. I will cry when Brandon graduates. Just another step before leaving the nest.

It has been a long time

Life has been a little busy for me lately. Work and taking care of things is getting a little crazy. I am behind on everything, housework-somewhat given up on that, if I can keep it vacuumed that is good enough. Checking account-about a month behind on that. Grocery shopping-did that this past week but that was 2 months of the kids complaining there wasn't anything to eat (just none of the snacks that they want).

Brandon's graduation is creeping closer. It is now scheduled for June the 7th with the last day of school on the 4th. Allison is going to Prom even though she is a freshman-she is going with one of her guy friends. That is May the 10th, went shopping last weekend and we found a beautiful dress that suited her and me and her father as well. Scheduled her hair and make-up for early that morning. I am so excited. I just wish Brandon wanted to go. I didn't go to any of my Prom's and I don't want him to regret not going later in life. But it is his choice.

Allison has been having panic attacks, don't know yet what the cause of them is. Have a doctors appointment tomorrow and maybe we can find some clues as for the cause.

Michael has MS and has had a few serious falls this past week. Has the scraps and bruises to prove it. The bad thing is that he usually falls face first. Luckily one of the kids have been with him. Brandon was able to pick him up but Allison had to call me at work and I came and picked him up. He has such a great outlook even though this disease is terrible.

On the brighter side of things I had a good month of March won supplies from Paper Trunk.


Also won a ring from Teresa Collins.

Have a good couple of weeks or months, until I write again.

I SOOOOOOOOOOO Want One

I want a slice so bad, but I have a Silhouette that I have yet to use. But this is so cute and looks so much easier to use. I haven't pre ordered yet, but I want one!!!! My scrapbooking addicted personality has to have one. PPPPPPPPlllllllllllllleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzee.

Onto other news, the kids are both sick with sinus infections. Allison hopefully has the depression under control. She is now on the same medication as me and maybe, she won't be at the same dosage as me. Michael now has the cough I had 2 weeks ago, and the one Allison still has. He really doesn't need to get sick.

Still need to finish the pages I did 1 month ago when I went to Louisville for the crop across america. This weekend I will finish and post some of the better ones.

The Flu Hits Georgetown Kentucky

It has been an extremely long week. Worked late just about every night. The flu has hit here and when you work at a pediatrics office, that mean late nights. The schools closed Thursday and Friday because of the amount of students and teachers that were sick. Luckily no one in my family has got it. I have a little cold but not the flu.

Michael has gone to his parents house to try to fix their computers. I didn't have to go because Allison has a friends wedding to attend. I like his parents, but prefer not to have to go. I am enjoying just doing nothing and trying to catch up on sleep.

So I am off to bed since it is now 1 am.

40th Birthday

Well, Saturday was my 40th Birthday and I was sick, the whole weekend. Didn't go to work on Monday, and find out today, that they threw me a surprise party and I wasn't even there to celebrate. Not good at all. The year 2008 has bit the big one in my opinion. First, on New Years Day, I find out that someone that was in my house, stole my sons IPOD. This got me made me mad, but I got over it and said I didn't care to have any of my kids friends over, because one of them is the one that stole it. Second, the kids that were already here, decided to throw the power pack for Allison's lap top off the balcony, where my camera just happened to be sitting. Broke the glass on the display, had to ship it to New Jersey in order for it to be repaired. Ending up costin $305 to repair it. Still waiting for it to be shipped back. I have all these pictures I want to take and don't have my camera.
