Another bad week

We start the week off with my Michael (my husband) falling after his leg stiffened up and broke his arm. Serious pain and swelling when I came home, take him to the ER and off course it is broke. He didn't think it was broke so he waited until he was in so much pain that he had to go. This pain has weakened him even more than before, falling on me and the kids many times this week. I know he is tired, because I am worn out. I don't know what to do for him, and I keep doing the wrong thing trying to help. I just keep hoping it gets better.

Get to go to Louisa, Kentucky for Thanksgiving, I would rather die, but it makes Michael happy. Would love to cook 1 Thanksgiving dinner in Kentucky since we moved here in 2000.

Long time no POST

Well a lot has changed in the past few months. Got off my anti depressant and quit my job at the pediatric office and became a paralegal trainee. But instead filed for one of the most anal lawyers who has ever walked this earth. Finally, I am doing what I was hired to do and work is wonderful. My son wants to quit college, my daughter has this constant pain, with CT scans and x-ray that show nothing. My husband is doing better and life is getting to be somewhat less stressful, but not completely.

No time to scrapbook though until this weekend over at Bad Girls. Got my Slice that I really really wanted and haven't had a chance to use it. Using that this weekend too.

Life has been a little bit hard the last week or two. Work has actually been upsetting my stomach. Don't know if I should look for another job. I really love the people I work with, but management has a lot of work to do. Brandon had his first day of college yesterday and he had his first accident. An old lady wasn't paying attention and rear ended him. Luckily he wasn't hurt, but there was some damage to his 4 runner.

It has been a long day and my head is beginning to hurt.

All Day Crop

Saturday was a great day for me. I finally had a whole day to do something I love. I was able to complete about 5 pages and did 2 challenges for http://www.badgirlskits.com/. I have been a member from the beginning and it was one of the best things I have done. I makes me challenge myself and the DT's work is just amazing.

This page is about Allie's 10th Birthday, even though she was still Allison back in 2003. This is for the 1st Birthday Challenge at Bad Girls.

This one was from July 26, 2008. I needed something where Allie was wearing something orange and she didn't alread have any pictures to we had a little photo shoot. The photo of the page didn't come out as well as it could but it will do. It was for the Bad Girls July Apron Challenge. This was the first time that I have entered.And of course you cannot have a party with your party hat, so here is mine that I made. I think it is very Bad Girlish!!!!

My New Toy

Look what my hubs got me for Mother's Day. It has a big metal bar that slips in the front and you can lock it. It is approved for airline. Holds tons of stuff. Just LOVE it.

My Baby's First Prom

Ok, she is just a freshman, but she went with a group of friends. The tanning sessions, the picking of the dress, the hair and makeup, the nails were better to her than the prom itself. She was so nervous when she left, and was greatly disappointed when she got there. But she will do it again for the next 3 years. I just think she is gorgeous, but I am a little biased, because she is my one and only baby girl.

This one is while we were looking for a good spot to take pictures. Love that she has her phone with her. Can't do anything without that phone, you would think that it was an important organ that keeps her alive.

She has grown up too fast. My little lady is truly a little lady. Brandon didn't want to go to his senior prom but I got a picture of the 2 of the them (actually getting along).

Life has just smacked me in the face with my kids being young adults. I am just not ready for them to grow up and leave. I will cry when Brandon graduates. Just another step before leaving the nest.
