Feeling better

Started this week off feeling good and seemingly getting better until I woke up Friday morning and I have a terrible case of the stomach flu. Not good. It wasn't just the stomach flu, it was a migraine from hell and back, feeling like my brain was going to explode out of my eyes, ears, and the top of my head. Body aching like I got hit by a truck and left for dead. Thank goodness today I am doing better just tired as ever, just doing the little things wears me out. Back and right shoulder are still hurting, but doing so much better.

Here is a couple of pages I have done in the last couple of weeks.

Rockstar was done for Scrappy Giraffe's Scrap that Tune Contest. Thought it was a good title for Brandon playing his Guitar Hero. Since he never lets me take his picture, I got him when he didn't want to move and mess up his game.

Your Beautiful is Week 2 in Scrap that Tune. We had to do a hand cut title and this one took all day because I cut the green patterned paper and it didn't look complete so I mounted it on the red cardstock and had to cut it again. I think it came out looking Christmasy, but that is just me.

Another week gone

Started out this week with an awful and I mean awful cold. Didn't go to work most of the week because of it. Thursday had to take Michael to the VA, but he will start new medicine that will help with his arms and legs becoming to stiff. That is positive news and we are hoping that they will do the trick. We have 2 months before we head back and see if there is anything else they can do for him.

Allison's dance team did excellent today in Powell County. The placed 1st in their division and 1st overall. I think they really out danced the other teams. I will admit when another team is better, but not this time. She got a little trophy that had a cheerleader on it, she didn't like that much. Wants to break the hands off with the pom poms. They had fun and a little more practice before we head to Nashville.

October Already

October is just flying by. Here it is the 14th and I don't have any Halloween decorations up. The kids are too old for trick-or-treat. No time for it anyway.

The weather has been hot than freezing and than hot again, causing my throat to be all yucky. Wish it would just pick a temperature and stay that way for a bit. Never know what to wear, because whatever I pick is wrong, but enough of my bitching.

Haven't taken any new pictures of the pages I did this week so I will leave you with this on I did 5 weeks ago.
